About me

Hey! My name is Francis and I studied game design at the Breda University of Applied Sciences. While working at King Art Games I have looked into different aspects of game design. I found out that I am especially fond of system design, balancing & Excel based work (data analysis, prototyping, etc.). I also have a knack for finding small imperfections, which when addressed, can elevate features from good to great.

These are some of the things I work(ed) on at KING Art Games:
  • The Iron Harvest liveteam for which I did balancing, content creation & system design.
  • The Iron Harvest PS5 and Xbox versions for which I was end responsible for the player experience. I worked closely with the creative director, the UI artist, and the programmers to adjust a mouse and keyboard oriented game in such a way that it works with a controller without diminishing the experience.
  • The Iron Harvest Worldmap expansion for which I did game design, system design, and balancing.
  • And lastly, I am currently working on an unnannounced strategy game. I do design work in key areas, such as the damage system and the economy which are the foundation of the game we are making.
